TC Testing will provide a free quotation for your business which is based on an estimate of the number of appliances you are likely to have. This may include a visit to your business premises to conduct a survey.
Once you have decided to proceed with your PAT testing, we will arrange a date and time to suit you and your business. To keep disruption to a minimum, we are available at any time, day or night including weekends.
One of our engineers will attend site and perform thorough inspections and tests of every portable appliance within your premises. This will include a visual inspection of the appliance, cable and plug, a functional test where practical, a check on the plug connections, a fuse rating check and several electrical tests including earth continuity and insulation.
Once the inspections and tests have been completed, our engineer will advise you of the results including any issues that have been found and any repairs that have been made. We will perform any minor repairs free of charge (240V only: plug rewire, fuse replacement, new plug).
You will then receive a PAT testing completion certificate and an itemised report detailing each appliance tested and its results. You may need these documents in the event of an audit, a health and safety incident, or in the unfortunate event that you need to make an insurance claim. A copy of this certificate may also entitle you to a discount on your insurance premium.
TC Testing will hold your documents on file on a secure server should they ever be needed.
TC Testing provide inspections and PAT testing throughout Torbay (and surrounding area) for all portable electrical appliances. Its customers include Cafes, Restaurants, Hairdressers, Offices, Factories, Hotels, Guest Houses, Schools and Colleges.
